Farie ensures the security of your data to the best of our capability and capacity. We use the personal data we gather primarily in order to conclude and implement contracts with our customers and business partners, both as regards the services we offer (particularly for vehicle acquisition and rental, repairs and financing) and in order to comply with our legal obligations in Switzerland and abroad. Farie has no influence over this data transfer or the later use of the data. 7. Privacy policy for the use of Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, US (hereinafter referred to as “Google”). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookies regarding your use of our Website is generally sent to a Google server in the US and saved there.Google uses this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of the Website by users, compile Website activity reports and provide us with other services related to Website and Internet use. This may involve the generation of pseudonym user profiles based on the processed data.We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation activated. 8. Forwarding of data

Within the Farie group of companies, we share personal data with other companies in order to ensure a consistently high standard of service within the group and also to be able to offer you their products and services if necessary. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties. The exception to this rule is the forwarding of data to third parties within the framework of our business activities and for the purposes described above, but only insofar as this is permitted and if we deem it appropriate. These third parties may include in particular: banks, insurers, brokers, debt collection agencies, service partners, authorities or courts in Switzerland and abroad, the media, IT partners, Website or social media users, interested parties in the event of takeovers and investors.These recipients are largely in Switzerland but may be located abroad. We only record data that is necessary for the implementation of our business activity or to provide services. We periodically save data backups.We take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access and misuse. To this end, we issue regulations, conduct training courses and perform regular backups, keep our IT and network security solutions up to date, conduct access checks and impose access limitations and use the usual encryption processes.When disclosing and transmitting data, we adhere to the usual security standards, whereby we cannot guarantee 100% data security. 10. Duration of personal data retention

We process and save your data to the extent necessary for us to comply with our contractual and legal obligations and to fulfil the purpose for which it is designated. This includes the time period required to meet our statutory duties of retention and documentation as well as to enable us to enforce or defend our claims. In principle and to the extent possible, as soon as your personal data is no longer required for the above-mentioned purposes, it is deleted or anonymised.

11. Your rights

You have the right to view any of your data we have saved at any time. We will provide you with access within an appropriate time frame and in an appropriate format. You may also request its deletion or information as to the purpose for which the data is being used. If you are currently a Farie customer, we require your data in order to maintain a valid contract. Therefore, should you wish to have your data deleted, you may request this by terminating your contract.
